Emily Wilding Davison, who was affectionately nicknamed ‘Pem’ by her close family, was a prominent suffragette, well known for the incredible impact she made toward equal rights for women in the UK. What does a suffragette have to do with our restaurant? Dedication. Commitment. Passion. Care. All of these things Emily Davison embodied, and all of these things we take incredibly seriously when it comes to food. Every element of every dish we prepare has been carefully considered and selected before it reaches your plate.
As one of the Capital’s most celebrated and awarded young chefs, The Pem is where Chef Sally Abé’s impact on the London restaurant scene reaches new heights. She has been identified as ‘Chef to Watch’ in the National Restaurant Awards 2019 and nominated for the GQ Chef of the Year 2021. Recently, Sally Abé was included in CODE’s 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality 2022
Her hand-picked team includes the fresh talent of Michelin-trained Head Chef Laetizia Keating, and restaurant manager Maciej Lesiewicz whose reputation for making our guests feel special is unsurpassed.
