Pem, a renowned suffragette who fearlessly championed equal rights for women in the UK, embodies the core values we hold dear. Just as she pushed boundaries and pursued her beliefs with unwavering determination, we too strive for the highest standards in our cuisine. Our commitment to delivering an unforgettable dining experience is matched with our commitment to sourcing homegrown produce and the best seasonal flavours in every dish that graces your table.
The Pem Team
Our team is led by Chef Sally Abé, one of the Capital’s most celebrated and awarded young chefs. Sally has garnered acclaim as the “Chef to Watch” at the National Restaurant Awards 2019 and was nominated for the prestigious GQ Chef of the Year 2021. In addition, her influential contributions to the hospitality industry have earned her a well-deserved place among CODE’s 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality 2022 and Women of the Year 2023. Sally’s cooking style is hearty, tasty food that’s intensely focused on flavour, using her gift for capturing classic, nostalgic British dishes that many will remember fondly from their childhoods and subtly modernising them. Working alongside Sally is our exceptionally talented Head Chef, Jennifer Collins, whose expertise brings an exquisite touch to every dish, and our Restaurant Manager, Maciej Lesiewicz, renowned for his unparalleled ability to ensure that every guest feels truly special.
