In honour of International Women’s Day, a wide range of exciting empowerment events took place across London, including at our very own Pem!

Pem Presents Series on International Women’s Day
Chef Sally Abé, alongside Conrad London St. James, hosted a culinary extravaganza in the form of her ‘Pem Presents’ series, supported by Sera, a social platform for food and drink enthusiasts, which brought together a stellar lineup of female culinary talent for a series of exclusive dinners, for unparalleled dining experiences that celebrated the achievements of women in the hospitality industry.

Leading Female Figures in Hospitality for Exclusive Dinners
Renowned for her annual International Women’s Day events, Sally Abé curated a stellar lineup of leading female figures in hospitality for a four-week series of exclusive dinners. Throughout March, guests indulged in exclusive dinners crafted in collaboration with acclaimed chefs Romy Gill MBE, Candice Brown, Poppy O’Toole, and Chantelle Nicholson. Each event featured an exclusive four-course menu created by Sally in collaboration with the guest chefs, showcasing innovative creations and culinary mastery.

Fostering Community at International Women’s Day Events
Her vision for the event was not just about showcasing the wonderful female culinary talent but also about fostering a sense of community and collaboration. Throughout the series, select students from Westminster Kingsway College were invited into the kitchen, providing them with invaluable hands-on learning experiences alongside Sally and the collaborating chefs.
